Charles "Charlie" Evans TRULL, Rhoda P. Helms TRULL, and Sarah Fisher TRULL

Charles Evans Trull was born in about 1838 to Allen Trull II and Milea "Millie" Price Trull. He married first Rhoda P. Helms on March 17th, 1859. After Rhoda's death on August 22nd, 1898, he then married Sarah Fisher on July 23rd, 1901 in Lincoln County.

Published in The Monroe Journal on Nov 30, 1909. I believe that the "Old Helms graveyard" mentioned in this obituary referred to Billy Woods Cemetery in Monroe, NC, which unfortunately was abandoned and subsequently destroyed after years of neglect. Nothing of this cemetery still stands today. However, a Mr. Charles Bivens recorded this cemetery before it was lost to time, and he documented a headstone for a Rhoda Trull (b. Oct 24, 1842, d. Aug 22, 1898) - Charles Trull's first wife.

It seems that after Rhoda passed, Charles married his 2nd wife Sarah Fisher, and he relocated to Tuckaseegee from Union County. When Charles passed, his body was brought back home to Monroe and buried at the Billy Woods cemetery, where his 1st wife Rhoda was interred 11 years prior.
